Veg Sandwich Recipe

People who love spices should go with this sandwich. Things which make this spice is the spicy coriander chutney, black salt and chaat masala.
For more flavors, we can get sandwich masala easily. For more flavors roasted cumin powder as well as freshly powered black pepper can also be added.

Ingredients:

  • 10 slices white or brown bread
  • 2 small to medium potatoes, boiled and sliced
  • 1 medium sized beetroot,boiled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cucumber,thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium tomato,thinly sliced
  • Butter
  • Black salt to taste
  • Chat masala
  • Black pepper

For coriander chutney:

  • 1 cup(250ml) coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • 2 green chilies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp water for grinding

Direction:

Sandwich chutney:
Take all the ingredients in a mixie and make smooth paste using 1-2 tsp water. Keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Assembling sandwich:
Trim all the edges of bread slices.
Butter the bread slices evenly.
Now apply coriander chutney to the slices.
Place all the veggie slices one by one.
Sprinkle black salt and chat masala on each slice.
Cover sandwich with other slice.
Serve veg sandwich with tomato ketchup and coriander chutney.
